| Mineta from MHA is probably my prime candidate. And Shimotsuki from Psycho Pass S2. Plus any constantly screaming character with an obnoxious voice, like Zenitsu, Asta and the like. I don't exactly wanna punch them, but I'm very much in favour of gagging them, locking them in a box and sinking it into the ocean, just saying. |

Maybe she was worse as a human being but, in spite of that, she might have been great as a character moving forward the story (I watched it years ago so I barely remember her). My problem with Nikaidou was that he irritated me beyond belief. I know perfectly well his exaggeratedly boisterous character was there for some kind of comic effect, but he breaked the atmosphere or the mood the anime had built up every time he showed up on screen. Sometime I felt the anime didn't know whether it wanted to be a seinen, a shounen or a shoujo because it showed the characteristics of all of those genres in different scenes and Nikaidou with his obtrusive character represented the type of humor that I can't tolerate in any show. |

| As far as a character that I absolutely detest more than "love to hate", most infamous case coming to mind is Makoto Itou of School Days. Easily the most detestable male harem lead character I've seen in an anime. |

| Sasuke from Naruto. And his “type” is generally my favourite. I can sympathize that he had a tough life (and obviously there were circumstances that contributed to him being the way he was) but so did Naruto and he didn’t turn out to be a terrible person. I just can’t forgive Sasuke for how badly he treated Naruto who wanted nothing more than to be his friend. Fuck Sasuke, seriously. |
