 The official website of the Shoot! Goal to the Future television anime revealed nine cast members and the opening theme artist on Thursday. The anime series will begin airing on Tokyo MX, BS Fuji, TV Shizuoka, and AT-X in July 2022.Cast Ryuu Sahara: Tomoaki Maeno (Haikyuu!!) Takumi Sonoda: Junichi Saitou (Hataage! Kemono Michi) Tsubasa Namioka: Kentarou Mashiro (Muteking the Dancing Hero) Ryuuji Amagai: Ryouta Suzuki (number24) Souma Hayashi: Ryunosuke Mastumura (Kamen Rider Zero-One live-action drama) Hinata Tatsunami: Daisuke Hirose (Re-Main) Kei Matsuhashi: Yuugo Satou (Ame-iro Cocoa) Kazuki Yamaguchi: Yuya Hozumi (Actors: Songs Connection) Touya Nakano: Yuuya Hirose (Diamond no Ace: Act II) J-Pop singer Airi Miyakawa will perform the opening theme "Aoleid." Noriyuki Nakamura (Mamotte! Lollipop) is directing the sports anime at EMT Squared, with assistant director Junichi Kitamura (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear episode director). Mitsutaka Hirota (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is handling the series composition and Yukiko Akiyama (Isuca) is designing the characters. Shoot! Goal to the Future is an original anime based on Tsukasa Ooshima's Shoot! manga.
