I mean, the way Anya's hair is combed is pretty conspicuous. Why are there those two triangles? Even under them (we see that in ep 1 or 2) the hair is made into two little buns.
That would explain how she receives telepathic signals.

I’m pretty sure she’s heavily inspired by another character in one of Endou’s manga, that’s why she has those triangle things. Look up Rengouku no Ashe

It's actually just because Anya's caracter is inspired by Ashe Talton from another old manga of Endou "Rengoku no Ashe", But you never know the creator is always free to add a use for them in the future and make them related to her Powers just like Saiki.
