| I never usually watch sports anime. but I'm a lifelong West Ham fan, and their recent form has reignited my love of football. As a kid I played and watched it semi regularly, nowadays I just watch the occasional WH game and follow England's international games. I'd had my eye on the manga of this and Blue Lock for a while, thinking as it's a sport I'm actually kind of into, maybe they would be right the sports anime for me. This episode was just average for me tho, boring in parts but I guess they have to set up the story, the ending was at least done well. I'll stick with it and hope it picks up in the coming eps. I hope we meet some interesting characters in the Tokyo try outs. Maybe Blue Lock will be more what I'm looking for, or who knows, by the end of Ao Ashi maybe I'll be super into it. |

| After watching episode 1, I can only say this is the first time I don't like the main character of a sports anime. I've watched KnB, Haikyuu, Capt. Tsubasa, yowamushi pedal, Diamond no ace, all of these anime the main characters are not too distracting to look at .Is this maybe because the first time I see the main character who is arrogant? I give 3/5 |

| Truly a compelling start. Been saving this season for a while so I can binge it and its about to start wrapping up soon so I couldn't resist. MC is a hot headed ball hogging arrogant forward that defenders like me love to eat up. That mentality is definitely not going to fly in the big leagues so I guess that's the obvious direction of his character arc. He seems like a good dude otherwise tho which is interesting. Also wow he straight up went Zinedine Zidane on that mf in the middle of the game. Can't say I blame him tho. Gotta stand up for Mama no matter what. |

| I've always enjoyed sports anime, and I'm absolutely loving this one. The football team's pronunciation was perfect. The MC is still growing on me; his personality is chaotic, but he had every right to headbutt the guy who insulted his mother. The coach, on the other hand, seems to be a former pro football player, and our MC piqued his interest. Not surprised there. His brother was honestly amazing. He provided his brother with the support he needed to achieve his dreams. |

| I haven't watched soccer anime in a long time. The first episode of this series completely hooked me. So, I think it has potential. Let's see if it matches my expectations for the next few episodes... |
