Didn't liked the behaviour of MC in MT. I am also really fond of shows that keeps me intrigued solely by dialogues. Re:Zero S2P2 did a really nice job in giving exposure to our main cast. Subaru's development is probably one of the best I've ever seen. Not only that but other characters also did a really good job in forging their motives and overcoming their past. Ah yes, Mystery aspect of Re:Zero is also good. PS. ReZero is more of a character driven show. |

I think the reason (mechanism) was cleared at the starting of the anime, why the MC was suffering and what he struggling for..And for finding solutions.. It's just a trailer of the anime... | Funny enough on my personal list I have Re Zero one place above Mushoku only cause I like the characters in Re Zero more and I'm a very character driven person. Once the next season of Mushoku comes it might change, or when I continue the novel soon. |

More enjoyable, more twist, more emotional, more blood and gore, more mystery, more SUS, all characters is well written, concept, lore and world-building is somewhat most interesting in isekai/fantasy genre. Sadly anime is cut so much details from LN and quality production is rushed af in Season 2. Still hope S3 is had more time to work and had better production. |

| Rezero is just better than all isekai from my opinion. No doubt. I not just watch anime, even read Web Novel and it just so good, not had any BORING or NONSENSE scenes like many weebs here spitting that on S2. |

Check. Harem? Check. Sex? Check. Pussy and Dick? Check. Pedophile? Check. Loli? Check. God? Check. Demon? Check. Most cringe and toxic fanboy? Check. Fanservice? Check. Animation save the shit plot and characters? Check. Soundtrack OST copied from Spice & Wolf anime? Check. So the MC is an ugly fat loser NEET hikikomori in his past life and gets reincarnated into another world in a better body with handsome cool edgy face and is no longer ugly and fat and later on girls like him and has his own harem of girls? | Re:Zero by a long shot, the story is interesting and Subaru's actions are believable for a guy who got transported from a peaceful world to one filled with battles and a lot of twisted stuff. It's enjoyable to watch since Subaru's only ability is to have the world reset to the last save point which he has no control over. As for Mushoku Tensei, Rudy is a huge turn off, his inner voice being that of an adult combined with his perverted tendencies just makes it even worse. It's just your typical wish fulfillment power fantasy where loser otaku gets OP powers and a harem. |

| Definitely think better Mushoku Tensei when it comes picking between these two anime. Better adaptation, better production, a really good story that's paced very well and isn't just mindless exposition and repetition, it can show, it can tell and it can do both for different situations. Interesting characters that develop in a slow but gradual manner, superior world building, etc. Re:Zero has more interesting mysteries early on and its characters are more safe and series is more recommendable to others because MT is not for everyone at all, but MT just feels like a work that oozed more passion for me than anything while being a compelling af story to see in the process in the long run. Pacing helps a fuck ton too since it flows really well here while in Re:Zero, it can get really fucking boring a lot of the times, especially s2 wise. Unlike making me feel alive and passionate, Re:Zero had me feeling soulless and just tired af in that s2 portion with those thousand backstories and Subaru's same kind of speech for everyone one-by-one. |

| Mushoku Tensei for me in both anime and light novels by leaps and bounds. Way more immersed in this series while the other one bored the hell out of me when reading and rewatching it. Re:Zero's always got potential but feels way too heavy-handed, forced and just not an enjoyable series for me to be a fan of it. It was like a chore, especially with the novels for all 4 arcs that have been complete through the English translated LNs that I read. Mushoku Tensei just felt like a breeze to get immersed into with each episode feeling like 5 minutes, not 5 hours. And the way Studio Bind handled the series was great, lot of love was put into it even with the smaller details for the world to feel alive in its own way. Apart from MT, if it counts since for some reason I'm never sure about it, the only other isekai series I like a lot is Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun and the Konosuba movie separately, not the actual full anime. Ascendance of a Bookworm had some potential with its synopsis and how fresh it sounded but was a massive letdown for me story-wise, especially in Season 2. And Myne's even more unbearable than Subaru for me in the first season, and that's a shame since I fucking love anime/manga/LNs related to books with a twist like Toshokan Sensou or Magus of the Library. |
