Timeline confusion (spoilers)

I'm currently enjoying the show so far but I'm a little confused during a few parts. I'm watching the show by release order. It seems like the Shinobu Time arc takes place during the Tsubasa Tiger arc but at the end of Tsubasa Tiger, Araragi comes in with his clothes all ripped up to kill the tiger apparition with Youtou Kokorowatari. I can't help but feel like I missed something

I also don't know where the Mayoi jiangshi arc takes place. I tried fitting it in in many places but I still don't know. Plus at the beginning of it Araragi was talking to a new character named Ougi Oshino as if he has known her for a while.

I haven't watched any further than episode 24 of monogatari second season. This isn't anything that'd make me drop the show or anything, I'm just curious

I recommend watching everything and then asking yourself these questions. and after that, if you have time, watch everything in chronological order, everything will make a lot more sense. in case you think you're missing something, don't worry, it's natural to happen while watching/reading this work. It should clear things up a bit, but your question about Ougi can’t really be answered without spoilers; it will be explained in the final season.

Never watch monogatari in anime release order, it will do nothing but confuse you, the only 2 proper ways to watch monogatari is novel release order or semi-chronological order. but if you meant you watched it in novel release order, then everything will make sense by the end of owarimonogatari, if not then search up a fimeline.
