| Finally some news about this. I was kinda expecting this for summer last year, but then Covid happened. S1 was boring with bunch of irrelevant characters, but it ended with such a cliffhanger z that I'm kinda hyped. |

They've been actively promoting the franchise since at least the beginning of the year, what are you talking about? Madoka 10th anniversary project, сontests on twitter, life events and so on. The broadcast of the second season fits into this line that eventually goes to the movie. They've been actively promoting the main series, nobody seems to care about the second season of Magia Record. |
