| This time I'm not happy with the announcement of a new season of Yami Shibai. It's already the ninth and the ILCA studio is increasingly pushing the franchise into the abyss. But there is still hope... At least that I pray for the series. |
| Honestly, the last season wasn't terrible, I mean not as good as the first season, but I feel like Yami Shibai 8 covered, "The Fear of the Unknown", although it could be said, the reason why it did that, was because actually having to draw/animate actual scary monsters would have required more time/effort, but who knows. Obviously the ideal for Yami Shibai, would be genuinely unsettling monsters/horror elements. |

| This is a nice reminder that I still need to watch season 8 of Yami Shibai. At seven years in and with four minute episodes, I'm going to watch this series until either I dies or it ends. And at this point, my bets is on me dying before Yami Shibai every thinks of calling it quits. |

| I'm looking forward to the new season! I enjoyed the whole francise so far and the 8th season wasn't bad. Maybe they cover now more animal related urban legedens, hint to its new cover :D |

| Please, the past few seasons of this have been absolutely atrocious. I love this series so much and it'll always hold a special place in my heart but it needs to be let go. Junji Itou himself couldn't save this series if he tried ¬¬ |

| 7,5,2,3,3,4,2,6.......these are the ratings I gave each season of yamishibai. It can be good/mediocre but most of the time is just horrible. Last season was ok and I hope this season can see it get back to being good like season 1 or at least be not suck ghost dick. |
