As much as I love Calling and want Twister to show up, it really does suck that Teenage City Riot got dumped and probably will never get any kind of official release. I just finished listening to the whole song and it is great. Hope ALI gets more work in the future, nice band.

...why do I have a feeling that this "fraud scandal" is just a cover up for a drug use charge or something... does something like this REALLY get straight-up removed and replaced JUST because someone got arrested for that crime?
The closest I've seen to this happening to another anime is what happened to the Pikachu & Pichu short in Japan and that was for a different crime... hmm........

I'm still disapointed in not hearing Teenage City Riot show up and not getting an official release. The song was really great and the fans should not have to pay the consequences for someones own actions at all because of this.

Good job recovering though.

I've heard of Japanese celebrities being arrested for drugs in the past. It doesn't really seem like something that would be covered up.
I especially feel sorry for the innocent members, but even the drummer should be properly compensated for a song he already recorded. Such a catchy song, too. Isn't this what contracts are for?

I think you slightly misunderstood my post. I'm not necessarily surprised that stuff got deleted as I already brought up Pokémon there. What I am surprised by is that the charge wasn't a drug-related charge, since that's what happened with the aforementioned Pikachu short. Sometimes I wonder if this situation actually was one and they're just saying something else in public just so nothing happens.

Oh you have no idea, the game Judgment (made by the same studio behind the Yakuza series) bases it's character models after the people voicing them, and this one actor was caught with heroin so they changed his face in the whole game. They went through the entire game and changed the man's 3D model just because of this, like that's A LOT of work.

They really, REALLY don't want their official products to be associated with people going through scandals, and bouncing back from a scandal seems pretty impossible in Japan.

Ah I'm glad they're using Twister for the main OP instead of Calling. It's not bad, it's just that Twister is basically the most iconic song of the game.
