| what is this weird obsession with the town. I get it, its a boring as shithole but its for sure not the worst place to live in. Probably some sect or something behind all this, wouldn't be suprised. |

| If they hurt Sensei, I swear... Reiji's mom being revealed as an evil, somehow powerful person feels about right. Though not sure how I feel about it, since the town was like a character itself, or maybe a dark foreboding presence hanging over everyone. Not so mysterious anymore maybe, but it's clear where Reiji's fear of 'leaving' comes from. Her behavior has probably always been deliberate. |

Her behavior has probably always been deliberate. it was already heavily implied that her mother is manipulating him to be obedient, remember when Reiji said that she asked him to wipe granny's chair even tho it was dry? and she keeps showing him 'im tired' gestures like rubbing her shoulders and such. |
