She has almost as many favourites on MAL as Denji and Power combined and more fanart than both combined on Pixiv. I can see why you'd think everyone hates her because the hatebase is incredibly vocal. but she's also by a lot of metrics actually (regardless of what this poll ends up showing) the most popular character despite also being easily the most hated. It's honestly already a problem how much people feel the need to talk about how much they hate Makima at every opportunity, I don't think a single Anime-only is going to get to experience the show unspoiled at this rate. |
