Grea and Anne are also characters in Granblue Fantasy whereas the Manaria Friends anime adapts the version of the characters from Rage of Bahamut. Nearly all Cygames IP share a core set of characters that originates from Rage of Bahamut in addition to characters native to that IP. They are not the same character but parallel universe versions of themselves. Think of them as the different versions of the same superhero in Marvel comics on different dimensions/Earth-XXXX |

gappasaurus said: Should i be confused about the “Manaria Friends” girls showing up here? 🤨 I know nothing about the source games, but i’m assuming there’s a connection? copy-pasting my older comment here too: its a cygames thing, through gbf and rob especially close (* also worth noting gbf's director started at cygames as event writer/planner for rob) there is a lot of characters that other (cy)games (especially gbf) took over through with a bit differently: Monika rob:magical girl (~Lucifer level strong), gbf: acting leader of the enforcers ("normal swordwoman"), priconne: a mix of both, younger magical girl, tries to create her own crew Anne,Grea, Owen had their 1-1,5 event in gbf (also unlike collab characters have holiday cutscenes) and unlike Monika they weren't changed that much, i think they had 1 event in priconne(?) , but in rob the academy much bigger in terms of events/lore |
