| I definitely enjoyed this first episode. I wasn't planning on following this series, but I will now. And yeah, the opening was pretty strange. I'm not really a fan of either that or the ending and I thought that they did not mesh well with the show itself. At all. |

| The pacing seemed quite hasty in the beginning but halfway through it got a lot better, the little girl is awesome. I have a good feeling about this one. |

| I'm pleasantly surprised. I was expected something significantly of more average quality, but this was awesome. A little confusing in the beginning, to be sure, but I already find the characters interesting and several conflicts were built up in the first episode alone. Basically, everything story, plot, and character related was good- heck, even great. I wasn't a fan of the opening animation just because it was so bizarre, but maybe it'll grow on me. I'm not a huge fan of the art style either, but it isn't bad per say, just a little on the lacking side. My only huge complaint is that I feel Kurenai's voice actor is miscast, his voice is a bit too feminine for that sort of character. Everything else was great though, especially Murasaki's audaciousness. |

| I liked the art and it looks interesting for now. Kind of like Aishiteruze Baby w/ a more sinister twist. I wasn't expecting the female to be that young, but I can roll with it. =) |

| Wow, that was absolutly great. There was a little bit of unessicary narrating dialogue like in most animes but I an live with one or two extra lines. That was fantastic. |

| Well, it was rather good. Didn't like the opening and the story at the beginning was pretty confusing, but the animation style of the show was fantastic! Yay for true HD! I like it how the setting and even the characters are rather mature and it's not your typical anime. Edit: After watching the OP a 2nd time, I have to say that actually, it's rather interesting. I think I am starting to like it. :-D |

| Agree ephemeralM, that's what I first thought... Oh well, some different anime on it's time is fine as well. I like the story, but I don't really like the style, but that's just something I'll just have to get used to. I'll see for the next episodes how they are, but I don't really like it right now. Oh, and I have to say that I like the OP and EN songs, but the OP and EN are just a bit too weird for me. Reminds me of Honey and Clover about the ''weird'' part xD |

| Nice. I hate that type of art. But i must say is one of the best out there. Its neat and realistic. I like the characters design. Though there ain't any original personality... (Well i guess its pretty hard to achieve new types now.... ) The opening was like "WTF?" and i skiped the ed right after 5 seconds it started... I will sure follow this series. I have high expectations on this show.... |

Slightly unrealistic in her tone and "toughness" however. She defines yet another tsundere loli in my eyes, just a little more extreme on the loli aspect this time xD The episode in itself was good however. There were no glaring problems and animation was nice. I'll definitely be following this for the rest of the season. |
| This anime is definitely a nice surprise. I've been looking for something along the lines of Aishertuze Baby. Looks like I may find something like it. Fast-paced conversations are win. Definitely will keep watching this. |

| So I'm guessing it follows the light novel right? Because I read the manga and it's completely different from it. Though it could just be a pre-episode and just shows how Kurenai and Murakami meet. Oh well, I thought it was ok anyway. |

| I think the pace seemed kind of hasted at a start, and you didn't really get directly introduced to any of characters. But maybe that's just how it's supposed to be. I just hope we're not supposed to cry for someone with less than 20 minute screen time, as seen in Air. And I'm interested in what kind of power he posesses, Kurenai that is. But yeah, this definatelly is seinen as far as I can see. Not much comedy, and I can see lot of tearful moments coming. |

| This kept my interest the entire episode, especially with the opening. I'm wondering what's up with his arm or whatever Kurenai was clutching. And I was also expecting the girl to be older (fooled by the picture!) but I don't mind this either. In fact I think it's kind of cute =P |

| Really liked this show; it was refreshing after the trashiness of Kanokon and TLR, despite me enjoying the former. I'm interested to see how their relationship develops. |

| I thought the first part was kind of rushed and so few explanations were given, I spent the first 8-9 first minutes with a face like this : "é__è", not understanding crap about what was happening. But the second part has a better pacing and I enjoyed way more. In about a couple of seconds, I already sympathized with the characters (especially Murasaki : she really looks like a 7 years old girl) and I found the dialogue very insipred and very natural. (It's probably the light novels roots of the show.) My "é__è" face quickly changed into a "^o^" face, and I was nodding and murmuring "yes... yes... yup, this is what I call a show... yes..." when Shinkurou was interacting with Murasaki. This show has a lot of potential. |

| I really like the manga, so i that's why i'm watching this. At first i saw the promo and disliked the artwork but i got used to it and ended up liking this first ep. I guess the anime is following the visual novel. |
