| That depends on the series. Shinobu from the Monogatari series is 500 years old and she has the body of a small child (in her child form). There are teenagers that are taller than NBA players and buffer than body builders and there are adults that are as small as a child, so there's no correlation between age and body size as it's different for everyone. |

| The average woman height in Japan is 5'1. That is to say, it is not exactly uncommon for women in Japan to be short. That is also to say, if you lived in a scenario where most of the people around you looked quite "young", it is not unlikely that you would create a world that involves things that are in yours. Height and age is different for everyone. Yes, there are people who are very young but look much older and vice versa. Yes, there are 4-foot-tall women, like half of the girls in my high school including teachers. Even on the contrary, there are 6'2 girls at 19, who even as they grow up and become 25, become 6'7. Just don't apply your worldview and only the things you see directly in front of you on everything else. Well, that's to say, don't expect things to be a certain way on the basis of only what you have seen. Because if I base anime on the things that I personally see in the world, then there should be even more big chested women that have a face of what could be assumed to be their early to mid-20s despite being 50 years old, and 12-14 year old boys that could easily pass of for 21 because of a strong facial structure, height and growing facial hair early. | Lmao anime artists being Japanese has nothing to do with this. There are two simple reasons: Young characters are made to look older because anime has a pedophilia problem and kids always need to be sexualized the target audience is young and relate to characters their age, but the characters still need to be competent for the sake of the plot. Old characters are made to look young because old and wrinkly people are ugly old and wrinkly people are ugly and making them look young has some shock value as well. Plus, characters who are canonically 300 years old obviously don't age normally so it doesn't feel like too much of a stretch. |

| My dream girl is from a visual novel forgot the name(barley remember my own name) but her name is kirara kurokawa and she is a high schooler(people say she looks childish but I don't think so) but is actually like 35 and apparently stuff with different dimensions and she'll look like that forever. |
