----------------------------------------
The GR2 is back, powered up it would seem, and GRO is flying into the battlefield, able to jam the tracking of missiles coming at their ship, and with some soldiers trying to infiltrate the base as well on the ground it seems. The GR2 has a psychic powered Rocket Punch, pretty sweet. Daisaku still fighting pretty earnestly I guess, but trying to still spare the GR2 and pilot if he can. A media blackout on the GRs fighting for once, while the reporters are trying to find out why, with Max himself choosing not to cover it, focusing on stock markets instead for some reason. Seems it's the FBI involved in the infiltration? That, or McKenzie was alluding to them being former FBI at least. D has been somehow leaking the location to the "Hermes disciples", causing part of this chaos. GR1 still winds up going super hard on the GR2 (idk if they are beyond repair, because I wonder what the previous moralizing was for then, or if things just got a bit out of hand with the GR1, not sure) and then...McKenzie gets shot down ;_;7. Daisaku gets kidnapped, and Texas tries to figure out how they plan to make their getaway as he deduces something involving the GR2 landing with a strange object. Pretty wild they used a retrieval capsule and a rocket punch to escort Daisaku and the kidnappers lol.

Some major dramatic moments, but another lighter plot, heavy battle episode. Things are taking a big turn, and the quietly observed moment of empathy from the GRO guy for the soldier who died feels very sympathetic - viscerally at the moment I couldn't care less for this dude considering what just transpired, but it clearly seems to be alluding to some possibly grey areas with GRO and such, probably some revelations to come.

Damn, Alex was killed then. Definitely wasn't expecting her to be a casualty here, because you wouldn't expect her to be willing to engage in a gunfight where she was clearly outnumbered and outgunned.

what a yawnfest, and I'm supposed to care about one of the characters "dying"? I don't because the characters are also all boring and unlikable.

hilarious that the big build up cliffhanger they tried to in the last ep leads into this episode. What a complete disappointment and waste of time.
I have a third testicle that gives me psychic powers
