----------------------------------------
The conflicts have moved in quite clean phases with these three brothers. The lure and confine strategy to take down the first, the resolved walk to his death; the composure to keep calm and take down the second, and now something new!

Morita almost played mr. moustache. Gambling on the fact that he wouldn't find the gun, he forced the two onto an illusory equal playing field. For a moment something awesome occurred, to continue with my irrelevant Jojo references, this became similar to Jonathan vs Jack the Ripper! With two guns, a light source becomes a target on your back, so if they will fight, they will fight with guns in the dark, a lethal game of hide-and-seek more than ever! Quite the exciting and scary scenario… Using the fear formed from that life or death game, Morita created a beautiful ceasefire, one with strong imagery! With the pager to signify where Morita was, and the flashlight to signify where mr. moustache was, they walked closer to mutually disarm. Another scene that reminded me of the Aiga conflict actually! But like Aiga, mr. moustache was ahead of the game, hiding the fact that he knew of Morita’s paper tiger, and even using that exact phrasing.

In one swift moment, a horrific but equal game of murder hide and seek has turned into the scariest situation for Morita yet. Mr. moustache is chasing after him with a flashlight and a gun, Morita is already shot in the leg. I do question if being so open with his knowledge was the correct option though, mr. moustache could have hid the fact that he had both guns and waited for an even better chance, but I'm not sure.

I would also like to mention how much I love those horizontal shocks of both characters on the same plain. Those along with the over the head perspective shots give this arc a consistent visual language that I very much enjoy! That, and for a character relevant notion, mr. moustache knows both of his brothers have gone down and if he was a cold psychopath, he could likely kill both of them without a fight and take over as the patriarch. The fact that he is still chasing after Morita and doesn’t seem to be giving into his greed says something about him.
