| kyoani didnt make it though its an adaptation of a visual novel clannad is at its best when its being funny and charming but all the tearjerking stuff is cheesy and overrated also to answer your question i got used to the character designs pretty quickly, and if you can get over the fact its pretty much cryporn then i think its worth watching |

| Clannad is a bit like the original Evangelion. It is a classic anime that needs to be taken as is, and enjoyed for what it is. It is rated at #48 here above NGE at #52. Very well worth watching. |

| Yeah that's one of the big issues of Clannad, art style, even though it's a KyoAni work. The easiest way to go through it, is to just accept it and ignore it. The most important thing there are the characters and the story :D |
