| I am sure there will be a 2nd season, the release date is another story though. I also got that notification but I think they retracted it because they're unsure of the release date. |

| It threw me off too. I knew they are going to make a second season because they said they are adapting the entire manga and one season wasn't going to cut it. But I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't a bit worried for a second when I saw that it got deleted. |

| Same here. If there won’t be a second season to cover the whole story including the missing zodiac members, I don’t know why they even bothered with a new adaptation. The original series already covered this much. |

(don't reveal who/hope you won't give much details) There are two more zodiac animals to introduce, but they won't have 'introduction episodes' like the zodiac has up to this point, so there won't be that kind of focus. The story will mostly focus a lot on delving into the mysteries of the Sohma family and the curse, Kyo and Yuki's pasts, as well as developing the relationships between characters and the main trio, including romance. | now if only MAL would change the name... "Fruits Basket (2019)" is NOT the correct title, and never has been. That's an Alt title fans and western companies like Funimation used. the OFFICIAL title has been "Fruits Basket 1st season" and the 2020 anime is "Fruits Basket 2nd season". Not difficult |

I also went through the series wikia page, which pointed about some plot differences between manga vs. 2019 anime, lke anime-original scenes, to fit this re-order. I remember reading about fans who were gonna skip this first season because they thought this season would cover the same as the 2001 version! They must be regretting now... |
