| Well, it may be possible that it gets a season 2 after the movie. There is enough material to create another 12 episodes sequel. We may see it confirmed in 2020-2021 I think. Iirc Crunchyroll had an article about it. For the dub, it's already dubbed in French so it should be dubbed in English too. You prob already knew all that since I'm 4 months late lol. |

| Does anyone know how much they adapted from the source? I guess they are having to wait until more source material is available? Other than that I can see no reason as why to nut push further seasons quickly - for such a great anime that seems popular and well scored. Especially now that you consider the western market (US and Cruncyhrolle and other countries that use streaming services) that needs to be taken into account - that makes it more realistic even in the unlikely event that it should not have been popular in Japan. |

There's enough source material for 3 more 1-cour seasons if they do a crappy adaptation like season 1. Season 1 should've had 20+ episodes if they adapted the first 3 volumes properly. Volume 2 took me 9 hours to read. Most light novels take me 3-5 hours. I think a proper adaptation could yield 5-6 more 1-cour seasons. The movie adapted half of volume 4. I would just read the novels if you want more. The character designs are so much better too. Warning though: it's a completely different experience than the anime. The tone is completely different. The exposition is heavy. It's definitely the most meticulous series I've ever read. Tanya is less sadistic too. |
