Just a forum to show love and support and take a moment to take the wonderful studio which brought this work to life without whom such a magnificent series would not have been possible.

Take a moment to thank the studio.

Doesn't money from BDs and DVDs actually go to the anime distributor, in this case Pony Canyon?

Best way to help WIT themselves would probably be to buy merchandise from I.G store because that money goes to I.G port and their subsidiaries.

Besides BDs and merchandise, anime can be supported by buying manga since that money goes to Kodansha which in turns makes them to fund more seasons.

disc sales are becoming irrelevant this days since sales of it keeps decreasing but legal streaming profit is rising some relevant infos

First, we know that license fees have been absolutely out of control for the last few years. Bidding wars between Funimation and Crunchyroll, as well as occasional violent disruption from Amazon, Hulu and Netflix have pushed the fees for some shows well over the US$200,000 per episode mark -- $2.6 Million for a 13-episode show
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/answerman/2016-09-09/.106251

an average 13-episode anime season costs around 250 million yen (or $2 million).
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2015-08-13/anime-insiders-share-how-much-producing-a-season-costs/.91536

the "minimum guarantee" is the up-front license fee that an overseas publisher pays for the right to distribute some piece of media
but now with streaming being such an important part of the business, most deals require an up-front payment of some sort for streaming rights.
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/answerman/2016-06-15/.103224

as you can see the minimum license fee alone can at times give a break-even profit already especially true with popular anime like Attack on Titan

-----------------------------------------------

but to me you better thank the hardworking talented staff behind this more than the studio, since a lot of the staff of this anime are freelancers anyway (just like most staff like animators and directors are freelancers on the anime industry)

Why Anime Discs Are Not Selling

ITmedia published an article on November 13 titled "Some Titles Have Even Halted Their Home Video Release... Is the Anime Disc Dying?" Author and journalist Tadashi Sudo highlights the decline of physical disc sales in Japan in recent years and argues that this has been caused by the popularity of video streaming services as well as the overabundance of new anime titles.

Why not do what deg says and thank the staff?

I bet most of them have twitter and most creators like receiving praise for their work and even more if it's from people from the other side of the world, you don't even need to know japanese since most japanese can understand simple english but if you go the extra mile and write a proper thank you tweet in japanese I bet they'll like it even more since you took the extra effort of writing in their language.

So in short just tweet them instead of posting here, also the lesser position they have the more they'll appreciate each tweet.

If only Wit Studio has the same amount of animators than any other studio Wit would not have dropped this anime
