| The copy scandal was way overblown and the bigger setback is the slow updates to the light novel. The most recent volume being released like January of 2018 after a 2 year break. So possible yes but you'll have to wait and see the pace of the source material. Because at best there might just be enough material to make a season but they tend to wait until there's a few extra volumes to be safe. Unless they just go the movie route again. Edit: Also you have the order of events backwards the "scandal" was from 2014, the movie released in 2017 along with 4 LN volumes since then. So if there's any issues with anime adaptations it most certainly isn't those accusations. |

It wasn't a big problem. I mean yeah, but IIRC the author started to write again after some time. Imho it isn't that big problem for an S2. |
