| I don't know about everyone else, but I think ecchi and Cold War documentaries are two sub-genres which go together quite nicely. |

| I associate the MAL genre tag 'Ecchi' with cancerous humor and boring slideshow softcore porn on a shoestring budget. But if we're just talking about a lot of hot bodies and too-good-to-be-true camera angles, then I think it can work with almost anything that doesn't take itself too seriously. The best fit would probably be over-the-top action of any sort. The almost completely dead 'girls with guns' sub-genre handled it pretty well, but take or the leave the guns, and any anime with that sort of feeling would go hand in hand with fanservice of great or small amounts. More lewd romance? More lewd SoL? Even more lewd (girls in) giant robots? I wouldn't mind that at all either. |
