| Try Satoshi Kon's movies, the titles are: Perfect Blue Sennen Joyuu Paprika Tokyo Godfathers I see you have Happy Birthday: Inochi Kagayaku Toki in your PTW, I recommend that one, and I also recommend Momoko Kaeru no Uta ga Kikoeru yo - both are very unpopular but good drama movies (Momoko is better imo, but I really liked both). Other than that, here are some other movies I liked (and consider good/very good): Jin-Roh Vampire Hunter D (2000) Yoru wa Mijikashi Arukeyo Otome Tonari no Totoro Harmonie (a short movie) And if you don't mind some weirder, experimental stuff then try these movies: Memories (a 3-part movie), Manie-Manie: Meikyuu Monogatari (a 3-part movie) and Robot Carnival (a 9-part movie in an OVA format). |
