| My only concern is that the child might suffer disabilities. Also the parents might not feel at wrong, but the same can't be said for their offspring. I know kids who get bullied at school for being adopted, for instance, and being the product of a blood relationship will definitely get them even worse. But I think the severity of a blood relationship is mainly because of customs and norms. It's still love between two people in the end. |

| When family gatherings aren't awkward? Its not a simple answer is for sure cause family structures have their own nuances. If the family is alright with the arrangement, the people mutually understand what it is they're doing would be the important first steps. I'm sure there are more "requirements" that fit to particular families but can't think of all of them. |
