| True, until gen 5, not many gym leaders were given much substance, like what they do, what they like, what were they staring at for so long, etc. Here the Gym Leaders aren't just obstacles, they're protectors. Stepping in to solve any issues concerning their city and, in desperate times, the entire region. |
