| Gintama because you have watched a lot of anime adaptions of manga series that got published in Shōnen magazines, which get parodied in this show constantly. That said, I like most of its cast, but I'm not a fan of Gintama's humor for the most part, nor those cringy serious arcs. But it's true that it gets a lot better later on. Although the last third has IMO way more boring and bad episodes than the slow, "uneventful" start. Maybe you begin digging its humor someway when you revisit it. Just take it slowly, or never start resuming it. -g- Edit: Thanks. I wasn't a fan of the sometimes forced dialogs + melodrama in the novel, so I doubt I'll ever complete it a second time in case it's faithful to the source material, though. I would have dropped it anyway, just wanted to take a look at the visuals. ^^ |

D W-W&N 🤍 MAL is a far cry from being my main literature site, that's why I won't be doing mere single chapter updates anymore. Manga- aka Baka-Updates + 2 French ones are miles better and more thorough/complete + less restricting. The latter are perfectly suited for Manga/Light Novel/Books collectors such as myself. Less stressful/tiring this way. -g- |
