Slight deviations (such as an article about JRPGs) may be accepted on a case by case basis - Be mindful of your audience; the average site visitor likely has about a first-year college reading level. Too many complex words and phrases will hurt your article's readability - When writing on sensitive topics (e.g. religion, race, gender, heritage), take extra care to be respectful throughout Things to avoid: - Spoilers, unless they are absolutely necessary for the article in question (for example, if your article is about the best or worst anime endings). If spoilers are present, the reader should be notified - Unnecessary profanity (pretty much all of it) - Political statements - Fan art, unless permission is explicitly granted beforehand - Inaccuracies. Please make sure something is correct before presenting it as fact - Plagiarism. Only submit your own work! |
