Honestly , I am getting confused now . People are saying don't give Milk to cats and then there are people who say Our cat has been drinking milk for like years . I have been feeding Milk to my feral cat and her kitten for months and It seems they like it and I can see shine on their skin . Don't feed Fat and bones but other say they are fine with Fat , bones and Meat . Don't feed dough but Feral Cat in my house eats Chappati made of dough . It even eats rice that is kept for ancestors . I was planning to buy cat food and then I read people saying wiskas dry food is bad . They say don't feed eggs to cat but my feral cat ate the fried egg >_< Tomorrow I am going to buy cat food and I am so much pissed at what I have read this whole day . Things on my list : Wiskas ( Macreal , sardine , tuna , chicken ) , WisKas Canned , Wiskas Dry But some people said their cat died and poisoned from eating wiskas food >_< DAMN IT |

I'm just gonna drop by to appreciate for a second the fact that this isn't another political thread ffs. OT: Just try feeding it rice for a week and if it doesn't die of malnutrition, well, congratulations. idfk.. |

I love cats. I want to eat one some day. My cat likes bread and milk. Bread seems to be fine for her but she throws up if she drinks milk. |

All cats not contained in a cat enclosure should be shot. This is my honest view. I do not hate cats, it is just that us humans are responsible for them. Feral cats kill wildlife, feast on native insects, lizards and birds. Feral people feed feral cats. If you are keeping it, then register it and build a proper enclosure for it. Otherwise kill it. |

hey! cats LOVE certain types of food that aren't very good for them... my cats absolutely love milk but its not good for them, and if we give them too much cheese/tuna etc it makes them sick! we use these foods as treats and only give it in moderation. wet food also makes my cats sick, we only feed them dry food as their main diet. if you dont trust wiskas is there another brand you can buy? |

i think milk should be fine for cats, but it honestly depends on the cat. it's probably best to stick with brand name cat food, b/c they obviously work. |

I've seen your cat posts everywhere on MAL. I like my cat too, but don't you have something better to do then complain about how difficult cats are? They're a pain; all us owners know. Plus that and going to MAL for advice on dealing with other living creatures is a terrible idea. There's google search and nearby vets/rescue houses and common sense I feed my cat wet food. I heard it's the healthiest a few years ago and had my cat switch to that. Her farts smell even more like rotting cheerios at the bottom of a pit of drunken fans' shit during a concert but her coat looks better and she's lost a lot of excess fat. Hope that helps. Seriously though, if you're having this much trouble, you probably need like a book or some legitimate help from someone who knows what they're doing. |

Milk is meant for newborns. Most animals besides humans can't digest milk once they grow up. |

For last 2 days Kitty is behaving oddly after drinking Milk . After it finishes drinking , It gets a sort of hiccup or something similar to vomiting but its not throwing out anything . A layer of skin from part that is towards nose tends to cover half of its eyes . >_< |

My cat got the worst diarrhea and stomach pains from drinking even the 1.5% store milk so we had to dilute it with water until he was old enough to go full on water. The food I buy for him is from a vet, specifically for his needs. The food from general stores like Whiskas or Friskies has a bad rep; I've heard of people whose cats had horrible health issues or even died from the wrong/bad side products (not sure how to call them) they throw in their foods. |

Went to buy cat foods and none of the animal food shops sell cat food . One shop left but it sells wishkas . Online shopping , I thought about but reviews of other consumers have confused me more . The change in the cats eyes are just a way of taking in different amounts of light, probably nothing to do with what you are feeding it. |

Don't give it rice, that's a horrible idea, cancel that thought right now. I know starved animals eat almost anything to survive but that don't mean it's any good for them. How about fish. With tiny bones removed, of course, so kitty wouldn't choke on them. Go to a vet and ask on what they would recommend for a specialist's pov but I assure you, they will say it's gotta have meat or at least meat supplements in it. You can't make a vegan out of an animal that is designed to eat meat. |

SO WHAT SHOULD I GIVE MY FERAL CAT TO EAT . CHOLESTROL IN EGG WILL BE BAD FOR CAT . SO CAN"T FEED IT DAILY . MILK IS THE ONLY THING LEFT . IT SOMETIMES EAT RICE . I THOUGHT OF BUYING PEANUT BUTTER BUT THAT TOO IS A DOUBTFUL MEAL FOR CAT <>_<>_<>_<>_<>_<>_<>__<> Look I'll make it really simple for you. Don't give milk to cats they are lactose intolerant (milk makes them sick, and if you give them milk you are basically mildly poisoning them) Cats are predators, they naturally eat meat, feed them a little bit of chicken or pork. I have been reading about that but my feral cat ( Kitty is behaving weird for 2 days , Having hiccups or something similar to vomiting after drinking milk ) seems to have no problem . I also read some articles that said not all cats are intolerant to it , still it must be avoided . Chicken ( What kind of chicken ? I heard onions are dangerous so cooked one is out . Should I give it tandoori chicken ) ???? I can't buy it and that too daily !!! Atleast give me a list of 3 food items that i can feed it . Since its a feral , it can eat meat on its owns . I can provide eggs on occasions , so what should be the other 2 . Today after eating egg , Cat had different eyes . Usually it has a straight line in the middle of eye but now it had this type of inner part () instead of this I Foods appropriate for cats - chicken, pork, fish, rabbit and beef (though being Indian you probably wont be feeding it beef) ^^ YA . Fish ? What type ? What about the sharp tiny bones , Should I remove them first ? <>__<> Other than meat ? Rice , Peanut butter , cookies , wheat , dry cat food , Bread , Butter ???? any of these ? Don't feed them anything else, no fruits, no vegetables, no grains, just meat. I was looking for Tuna and other cat food but the views are getting me confused . What should i buy ? Wishkas Dry , Tuna can , Mackreal etc Drools """ Royal canin """" Most comments keep repeating , Drool is bad . It affects cats urinary system , Wishkas is bad as it has fillers and secondary useless ingredients , Royal canin was recommended by friend but they are slightly costly . If you can get canned tuna or mackerel they should be fine to give to cats. Thanks . Lets hope I get one . So no dry or wet cat food ? |

Cats can eat fishes. Idk whether they can drink milk or not. |
The word elitist is stupid since it's just used by people who can't defend their favorite shows and use it on people who criticize their favorite shows. |

Please don't give cats milk, they are lactose intolerant. Some cats might "like" it but it's still not good for them. I recommend Royal Canin, Nutro, Blue Buffalo as good brands of pet food from feeding my animals |

lol who revived this dead thread anyways dont give cats anything they aren't supposed to. If it seems like it may like bread, it might, but it is bad for them obviously. |

LOL, I remember this thread, it was ridiculous then as it is now! Hopefully the thing is dead now. Or at least he has stopped feeding it milk by now. |
