Asa's skills are absolutely magnificent. Breaking katana by hitting the water. Did those things really exist? God, it's so interesting.

Wow, the vileness these men displayed by assaulting and aiding in the rape of a Buddhist priestess. The man committing the crime thinks he can do as he pleases and not have to face consequences because he's the son of the Shogun's sake maker. What trash this guy is. When Yamada catches these men, the man doing the crime tries to bash her skull in with a rock. Yamada decides to take matters into his own hands right after attending to the priestess, who also happens to be his friend that he was there to visit. Luckily she survived, thanks to Yamada caring for her injuries. Afterward, Yamada informs the local police about the situation and then pays a visit to the sake maker. The sake maker tries to claim his son is innocent and wants to put the situation behind him, but Yamada will not allow it. Yamada intends to take him in for his crime, which means he'll end up being the one to execute him. After the sake maker can no longer stall any longer, Yamada takes the son to the prison and they set him up to be executed for an o-tameshi. When Yamada was tending to the priestess, she blamed the man's lust on herself and even went as far as to ask Yamada to go lightly on him. So when Yamada was ready to execute him, he put him through a scare, but ending up letting him live. I really wish he would have gone through with it and punished the man for his crimes. He didn't deserve to be spared one bit, but I guess it's all politics in the end and privilege can buy your way out of the worst situation.
