| We can certainly end humanity. That's not hard at all for us anymore. I think we're capable of scarring the world, changing it, perhaps doing some damage. But we've been on the Earth for barely an instant when you think about the amount of time the planet has been around, and for a long time the earth's surface was a burning sea of molten rock. It survived that stage. There's not doubt in my mind it'll survive and move past us no matter what we do to it. We on the other hand would all die if the earth's orbit shifted slightly closer to the sun, so... theres that. |
