I think these are not bad.
The characters are pretty nice, although some of them are a tiny bit plain, I think.
The background... well, that feels a bit like drawings made in art class in school to be honest. They're not bad, but their style differs from the style of background I usually seen in manga, I think.
My opinion is, that these are pretty good, but you could do some smaller-or-bigger changes here-and-there. And then it will be even better.
I wouldn't mind checking a manga with this style, but if you improve more, I'm sure I would like to check out a manga with a style like that.

Let's see... (not counting pictures with no humans on them) the 1st one isn't sharp (that's the camera's fault, not the drawing's I assume) so it's hard to decide.
expecially the 2nd and the 6th. and the 3rd, by some extent, but that one not that much.
the 2nd one feels somehow... relatively empty. I mean, not that there is no background, that's fine, but that the character feels somehow empty. the 6th one has a character who's eyes feel somehow "dead". if that would be a wax fugure I guess it would be ok, but if it's a living human being the eyes feel empty.
I guess some of the plain-ness comes from eyes not so well done in some cases - as someone who also draws I agree, drawing eyes is hard.
Otherwise, let's see... can't really describe... some of them feels a bit plain. Maybe you could add some blush or don't know. or ears in cases where the hair isn't long enough to cover the whole. to be honest, I'm not quite sure why they feel plain aside the eyes, but they do feel plain. Maybe you could play around with their hair a bit more too.

If I'm going to be honest, from the art you have shown here, there are still a bunch of basic fundamentals that you should practice before even thinking of putting yourself on the stage of professional artists (perspective, body proportions, shading, etc). This is a good foundation, but at this point, you don't really have the technical skill to back a style.

On the other hand, it's still a good idea to create a manga for the practice and experience.

I appreciate that but like I pointted out, the viewer isnt going to care about, theyre gonna want something pretty to look at, top mangakas dont exactly have that kind of style
thank you for your comment though.

You can but ther's more thing you realy need to learn but when comes to making manga try first on making comic before you proced to manga to improve your character body then try to draw some land scapes and buildings to practice your background drawing

I know you can do it just keep it hard and give all your best in every peace of your work
I'll be waiting to see more my friend
(Just ask me if you want to learn something ha!)

If you really do want to make a manga, you could just do it. You don't have to look to strangers to ask for approval. However if you are looking for criticism on your art, I don't think MAL would be the place. Story, maybe. But for art, if you really want in-depth nit picks and corrections, you're better off going to areas with professionals. A facebook group called Level up! exists for the sole purpose of giving CnC to people. There are plenty of people there who can give you advice you need, unlike deviantart or paigeworld or whatever it is people use.

from artist to artist I would recommend looking at anatomy books to get the proportions right once you have done the same pose a couple of times then try to do it without looking as this helps you when rough sketching as the faster you can do that the better. And if you are looking for your own style well the way I came up with mine was looking at art that I like and picking the part out that stands out to me and then incorporate them into my own art work. so for an example sycra uses sharp and pointed line I would then use them in my own art work to make my own art style. And to improve on your background making I would have another sketch book to draw backgrounds and try to memorize the backgrounds and objects without looking the more you can do that the better of an artist you will become.

Thanks for your tips on body proportions and art styles, Im not actually aiming for a definitive art-style im just looking for something people could find intresting, the emti-ness in one of the character designs there are certinly not going to be final. I actually had no idea that artists put different things in other sketch books seriously.
P.S. Id like to see some of your art.

I would say it's worthy of a manga especially if the story is good. Take One Punch Man and Mob Pyscho 100. One uses his own unique simple art. It's not on par with most manga artists but it gets the job done. (Actually I think he can draw much better but doesnt to save time). Look at where his pieces are at now his manga mob pyscho 100 got adapted to an anime with his original art and OPM also received an anime(albeit with different art) . I think you will be just fine as long as the story is good enough =)

if you want to create a comic book or a manga.then, liking comics or manga isn't enough look at how compositions of comic books are used.looks at tons of film's that are outside of your comfort zone and outside of anime.

study! study! study! read lots of webcomics and really study what makes them not only good in terms of art but how they apply the principles of art.

I've seen worse drawn Manga get published, so it's possible.

Was it the shyness in my soul that made me lonely just like you? No one noticed I was there, when I walked into the room.

As long as the story/plot is good, you can make a manga despite lacking in artistic skills (ex: OPM)

From your art style, it's still developing and I think you suit the SHOUJO manga genre. But don't stop that from venturing to shounen if that's what you want. Just practice and I'm sure you'll get even better.

Actually, your art is good. Practice practice practice. Honestly, I applaud you for making backgrounds. It's still not pro-level but it's really, really good. Body proportions, "actions" like giving weight to character's movement. You can read/search online for tutorials on how to do that. I know it's difficult but you have a talent and all you need to do is to develop that talent more.

As for me, I learned to draw from watching anime/ reading manga/ a friend who did pretty drawings so it's always changing. Just find the right style that you feel comfortable with. (I'm also an amateur. LOL)

It's better than me in some but it's more in the lower middle skill level of artists id say which is better than an most people in the general populous.

the way you draw them in general but it's your style

a more important thing is that it seems like the way you draw these characters are strictly 2-d like in the first picture; it seems really awkward when only given that perspective

Your drawings are nice but like someone else said you aren't up to the standards of any professional on a technical level.
But again like someone else said doing a manga anyway would be great for experience.
I've been here way too long...
