i generally fight against endless complaining.... it just stands out that i fight for ecchi since its so endlessly targeted and im clearly a big fan of it but i don't defend it "more" than anything else, its just the subject its targeted way more than anything else, and ive always felt not enough ppl spoke out against the hate it gets that includes ecchi targeting females too, its just you don't see that hated on to anywhere near the same degree, infact, its pretty rare |

| I don't see the point of watching anime just for the ecchi, but I am not going to crucify someone for doing so. Now if the anime has a little ecchi and a decent story, then that seems like a win win situation to me. Nothing to be ashamed of there. |

Seikon no Qwaser is a battle ecchi that has both the interesting element of powers based on the periodic table, and the gimmick than the energy of the MC comes from sucking from one of the girl's tits. It's average on it's execution of shounen, and the pandering is obvious, but give it a go if you feel inclined. It has 2 seasons. The MC, afai remember, didn't feel very generic either, due to his bossy and straightforward attitude. He has the appearance of a kid though. |

| Being ashamed involves one's morality so there no right, wrong or a clear answer to that. From society's point of view yes, you should be ashamed and that's because society as a whole condemns ecchi (not only SJWs). However the environment counts too, I have no issue in discussing porn and pornstars with some friends but in a different circle that would be inappropriate or shameful. Even though porn is more socially accepted than ecchi, it is still kinda taboo in a greater scale. So from society's point of view you should be ashamed of watching porn, even if it is much more socially acceptable than ecchi. However how people that condemn porn openly then fap to it are hypocrite, those that say there's nothing wrong with ecchi and people shouldn't be ashamed of it are hypocrites if they actively hide it from all other people IRL. |
