Sorry for having really weird topic...

Anyway, do you read mangas out loud? Why yes? Why not.

Well, as I think I'm the only one to read mangas out loud, I'd like to explain myself, so you think I totally weird (doubt it's gonna help).

One of the reason people prefer movies\tv series (not just anime) than books is that it's more visual and you more feel in it. In books, it's big harder for most people.

I like to let the characters life by reading it out loud. It also helps for enjoyment. In my opinion. I think that changing your tone to the tone of the character may help you enter to the character's shoes. But maybe it's because I'm fond of the world of acting (I'm not that good, though).

So, what about you?

Dude, I feel you... I recently purchased Magika swordsman and summoner manga. Last night I was reading it out loud and it feel just right because of how much you get into the characters mind and personalities. I currently reading is it wrong to pick a girl in the dungeon light novel, I'm kind of still unsure of the scene and visual because you can have many options.

I see silence as an important part of reading anything. I get what you're saying about it having less life, but good authors only need words to paint a clear picture in your mind, and to bring life to their characters. If you have to do that yourself, I think that's kind of odd.

I think it's definitely weirder to read aloud for manga because you have pictures. Detailed pictures. The artwork alone is more than enough to bring life and feeling through. That being said, I do understand what you're getting at. Everyone interprets and understands at a different pace when reading, and if reading aloud helps you better feel the characters, then by all means go for it.

Try reading hentai aloud in public
it's okay just stay "it's just a prank bro"
and you be safe from public humiliation.

I read it "out loud and with different voices", but all inside my head.

But if you're alone and not bothering anyone else, why not? And you might even improve your acting skills :)

Even I know to when to stop reading out loud... And I won't read it anyway.

That's tiring. Imagine you reading a chapter full of fighting (shounen manga), you will have to yell all the way through the chapter?

I sometimes read out loud when there's a lot of text, as I usually get distracted by other things when I read for long period of times. (It ain't a disorder lol, just being a lazy ass)

I don't read shonens, I kept keep tracking in fights. And the only one I do... I skip them all.

I like to read silently because it goes faster. And also because I read lewd stuff sometimes and I like to keep that to myself.

I read out manga all the time as I do stories and novels. I even do sound effects too, which might be a little too far, but hey... I enjoy it.

I never read anything out loud to be honest. Some people in my school look at me differently only coz I watch anime and read manga from time to time >.>
I myself, find it quite embarrassing to read anything out loud. Even if it's a book. Even if a teacher asks me too.

I only do it when the the scene/moment/dialogue (reread) is hype af, And by hype I mean roll back chair, lean forward with palpable expression, level of hype.
