Thankfully, I'm glad Rio holds no ties with the kingdom anymore. He was used as a plaything and a pawn by those conceited nobles. However, one shining light is his meeting with Latifa. Saving her from slavery, their relationship is enough to be close siblings. Latifa being also reincarnated was explicitly revealed from the start, but I'm somewhat surprised she was also in the same bus accident as Haruto/Rio.

Liselotte too was revealed to be reincarnated, and I have my suspicions it may be Haruto's missing childhood friend.

Rio's life in Seirei no Tami was vastly different from his life in the academy, pretty much being treated the opposite. I'm glad that he's able to make close friends now in this world and that the spirits hold Rio with great respect. Leaving Latifa behind, Rio now travels to his original destination Yagumo, I'm hoping nothing too despairing occurs.
