Seems legitimate if I actually wanted to compare them, but I can't think of a very good reason for doing so, so nope.
Be thankful for the wisdom granted to you.

No, I generally don't like to being reading a manga the same time I'm watching the anime. So, far the only show I think I've done that for is Assassination Classroom. Generally, I like to space out reading the manga and the anime so I am not reading/watching some so similar so close together.

I prefer to watch the anime first and then read the manga.
I have a few exception but that's what I usually do.

Yeah, but I do it in a different way than you described. Usually I will read a manga all the way through and then watch the animated series if I really enjoyed the manga. Sometimes I'll watch a series and then read its manga to see how closely they stuck to the original. It's pretty enjoyable and interesting for me to see the same story in two different mediums, it makes things more nuanced in my view.

I always do this. I'm doing that with Naruto, Jojo, and ERASED right now.

Sometimes. When I become really obsessed with a manga series then I watch the anime to see how the characters come to life. I often find myself either loving the anime (if its in line with the manga) or hating it (if the anime takes a life of its own, because it might as well have a different name and different characters). I also watch the anime because I want to see how well the anime series expands on certain points like character development or plot developments. Sometimes (because it can get really frustrating when an anime shits all over its awesome predecessor manga)

I've never done it like this. It seems too tedious to me. Instead, I finish the whole manga before watching the anime adaptation. I've done this for some high ranking anime like Death Note, Parasyte, or Tokyo Ghoul. For the most part, I was disappointed at the anime. It was probably because the anime couldn't incorporate the intricacy a manga brings about. Also sometimes when the voices are too different from what I've imagined, it ruins the characters for me.

I do not. I tend to just read the manga and watch the anime later or switch to the manga from the anime for several reasons ranging from fillers to access of a specific medium.

I do not think I would have it in me to read a chapter or two and then watch the anime episode in tandem... I am not as young as I used to be. LOL (Am I doing it right, kids?)

At the same time? No. I usually go with whatever came first (so, usually the manga), and I may watch a side movie or something that wasn't in the manga, but usually, if I'm good with the manga, I'll just stay with it. I'm usually not curious enough to go after the anime, I have too many other things to read and watch. If I'm really curious, I'll perhaps go with a few episodes, mostly for comparison.

Nah, I usually read whatever I've watched if I liked it. I don't watch the anime adaption of whatever I read though, I mean I used to but I just can't be bothered these days.

There are times I'll go ahead and do both, but many times I've started with the anime and just switched to reading the manga instead.

What I usually do is I watch the anime first. If it leaves a strong impression I check out the manga, especially if the anime has one of those endings where they leave you hanging just so you go read.

I do that for Shokugeki no Souma and Haikyuu...
Can't wait to know what happen next. However, I couldn't get too far ahead in the manga as I might lose interest in the anime so.... yeah.

Yes, if I read manga first or the airing anime is very good and I can't wait another week for an episode. (ex. Nanatsu no Taizai and Boku Dake ga Inai Machi)

I prefer the manga (almost always, few exceptions). But I do check out the anime, to see how they handle it, usually it disappoints (Aku no Hana, Parasyte anime is good, but the manga is way better, Tokyo Ghoul, One Piece etc.). And sometimes the anime is as enjoyable as the manga or even better in some cases (FMA:Brotherhood, Hunter x Hunter, Shokugeki no Soma).

I prefer saving either the anime or manga for later. So I will watch the anime then read the manga maybe 2-3 months later. If there are light novels and manga available I will actually read both of them at the same time and wont lose interest.

For manga that has no anime, well of course I read that first. Then if it gets an anime release I will watch the anime.

I always do!! I compared Usagi Drop manga and anime adaptation and it's kinda fun to find the difference and comparing both versions. In Usagi Drop case, I recommend you to watch the anime instead, or read the first 4 volumes. :)
Now I'm doing the same thing with School Rumble series..

Did this with One Piece. Fishman Island arc was shitty so I decided to read instead and only watch the anime key moments to go faster.
