| Her drug addiction's gotten so bad that the mere sight of drugs made her buckle under the temptation even when presented with the money she so desperately thought she needed. Hayato's a goddamn bastard for kicking her out after all he'd done just because she missed a week's worth of pay due to the drug addiction he caused and she couldn't control. It didn't help that she got raped by STD-addled bums who didn't bother washing for years while getting a hit and getting it off in the playground. It was the only help she could get and this is just the usual for her but it was still very disgusting. Now she got pregnant again and couldn't afford an abortion this time but there was finally a hint of sincere determination in her eyes. It wouldn't be that easy with all the STDs she's gonna get from being the homeless people's whore and the eventual drug withdrawal that will occur so I tragically doubt that she'll make things work. |

| you know the manga is fucked up when the "light at the end of the tunnel" moment at the end where she says she's gonna better herself just makes you more despairing for her. idk about timelines here or if maybe human anatomy is just not being properly followed here but i think the throwing up is probably more attributed to drug withdrawal or catching something from any or multiple of the dudes who have hit it raw than pregnancy which i think she would be waaaaay too early in for morning sickness to start showing up. like i wouldn't be surprised if she had caught something from the needles or another client before the homeless dudes. |
