| I don't know... First of all, I had to read some comments here to understand what was going on: I hate series that don't give you enough hints but just pop out some stupid deus ex machina and voila. But this happened in the first season too (although at a different degree), so I expected it. What bothered me the most was the feel you get from the series: it's totally different from the first season! We get some new characters, but none of them is "spiritually tense" as ANY of the contractors from the first season. They just took all the characters who didn't die from the first season, added some random cardboard characters and a plot made of twists only. And don't tell me that the new characters were good: they were uninteresting and with almost no depth. Where's the noir feel that made DtB so moving, so good? It's not that bad per se: it's bad as a sequel of DtB. This feels like a spin-off: the feel is wrong, the setting is awkward, the plot seems badly sewed and all the new characters die. I hope the continuum will settle a bit with the OVAs. Until then, this is a 7/10, because as I stated it's not that bad, still it's far away from its prequel. |
| Although many questions still remain unanswered, I think this Ending is greater than what I had expected. I was afraid like hell that Hei would die, thank god it doesn't happen! And this Ending isn't so tragic either (at least the main characters are still alive and kicking, whether they are illusions or copies or whatever)... ... ... ... ... I take my words back. I want a Season 3 right now. WTF has happened to Hei and Yin? BONES, I know you have done a great job, thank you very much. But you know what, this SS is way too short and it doesn't make me feel satisfied one bit. I want more!!! T_T |

| Shion copied the planet ... Shion copied yin.. That copy is a boy and still taking contractors soul or whatever... Misaki became stylish syndicate member (why now?)... This syndicate is different and i didnt get what the hell they're doing... In the new world Shion is a boring happy ordinary girl (hate her much more now)... July is...yeah yeah he must be happy.good kid... New gate is opened (where?middle east?) bla bla bla..Ok i accept them even though i didnt understand how the hell all these happened..but just at least show what happened to Hei and Yin.. The thing that made most disgusted in whole series is Misaki's "I know he's alive bla bla.." crap about Hei They didnt answer anything at all =_= |

| That was terrible ending. It`s like the whole thing was to prepare us for season 3, or worse - like a longer ark then the 2 eps ones from the season 1. I`m not sure that I want a continuation - it can go only down :? |
| I wont accept this annoying loli story, Pinker than Pink: Ryuusei no Gemini with Hei as side character as a sequel to Darker than Black. As a stand-alone title it deserves 5/10 for massive plotholes, but for what the authors have done to awesome action-adventure title with deep characters I give it 2/10. (Call, me a troll or whatever you like, this title is the biggest dissapointment I've ever had in anime) |

| July hugged Suou! ...and that's about the only thing that's completely clear for me xD So: Hei lied to Suou about being together forever and had a nice lolicon moment with her. Shion basically created an alternate Earth, on which July, Suou and her family still live, but there's no Hei nor Shion. Genma killed Youko because he sided with CIA against Kirihara and the rest. Hazuki paid him back in a Missed Moment of Awesome fight, which was not shown to us. Kirihara is still a virgin and the creepy kid killing CIA dudes at the end is what? Yin and Shion's lovechild? Lol. 1st season > Gemini, easily. Although I enjoyed my Magician randomly coming back. (I knew he's not totally dead) Also, with the Meteor breaking, and BK-201 star being back, Hei's contractor abilities are also back right? |

| Okay, I'm actually glad they got rid of Sou now (never liked her...) incase of a third season. Which I sincerly hope will be airing next year, around November like the sequal. I had hoped to see where Hei went off to, of course all in vain, they just kept showing the twin dolls and the freaking floating car with passengers (none of them protagonists). Season three will probably be about killing the female Yin version vs the male Yin (Ying & Yang, anyone?). Which happends to be super evil, with a liking of killing people. Everyone blaims the female version and Yin & Hei ends up being chased, killing of american soldiers and whatnot. |

| The ending isn't wtf. It got wrapped up, not too nicely but it got wrapped up. 1. Shion copied the entire earth. 2. All the dead souls got sent to the other planet to be reborn. 3. Hei got his powers back to kill Yin. 4. He stopped the calamity from befalling the planet. 5. The world continues to exist with more contractors and more gates appearing. 6. Misaki joined the "new syndicate" watching and guiding things from the shadows. |

| Despite what many say, I actually enjoyed this season far more than season 1, though the crappy ending followed the trend of all the other anime this season No, I would not like a 3rd season. We have seen how anime that were good became bad with endless seasons. Most recent examples would be Shugo Chara and Nogizaka, which tore whatever success they had in earlier seasons with pointless sequels. |

| Wow, that is just they actually twist everything in the last episode and it actually make a lot of sense that the first season did. So there wasn't Izanagi to begin with? That is just crazy. And actually the white Izanami is the clone of the black Izanami and at the same time is the real Izanagi. They made me go crazy here. I am not really sure about the transferring yet, but I will be back for that. |

Shion created a second earth, and the deal he created with Yin was that he will be sent there as well. She didn't kill anyone, she rather sent them to a new world, without gates and a happy life. That was Shion's dream. Yin destroyed the meteor core so that Suou's memories can pass to the second earth. The death of Yin was probably the trigger needed for life on the new world to start, and that's why Hei killed her. He wanted to do it himself (for a reason that will probably be shown in the prequel OVAs), and that's why he stopped Suou. The ending fully open to a next season, and I wouldn't give more than two years till it comes. 10/10 for a great continuation of DTB I don't know how you figured that all out, but it seems to make sense somehow... I liked some parts of this episode like so much, but when it came to the credits everything was just becoming confusing. I'll give this series 9/10 because it was so entertaining throughout the whole thing, but as everyone has mentioned, season 1 was much better |

| this was almost as confusin as nge .. and this episode was like the end of evangelion, ya.. still, great series. Worse than S1 ,but still , it was great too see Hei again . i was for YinxHei but at the end i liked that scene where Suou was being hugged by Hei. oh well. confusion #_# |
