Good action this episode especially in the first half. I feel like the aliens they are fighting got much stronger than expected. Kazuki impresses me but he's being too risky as a pilot.

Still, I thought he was making some bold moves. Quite a bit of causalities as well..

Really feeling sorry for the younger kids of their generation there D:

Not too sure whether to like it or hate it... I mean, I can't say I "loved" those Dhaka bastards killing all of those civilians and Hiroto being reduced down to cooling bag. So glad Olga at least survived although I can't help but think that jet is going to get shot down. So many death flags are being raised.

Soushi should've ended them. Although I guess that would only strengthen Dhaka base's resolve to kill them. At the least I'm glad Maiya pulled the trigger.

I am damn near hoping that come the climax of this season, retribution will be brought upon those that deserve it.

Remember anyone who passes off the Goubain helmet is a dead man walking. Olga living is a surprise though. Bridge Bunnies are usually ripe for sudden deaths, but this wasn't the case.

Switching gears, who thinks those Black UN Fafners look cool though? It's a nice color scheme over the blue ones.
I wish Cowboy Bebop never existed.

F-those guys, seriously. The only reason Dustin and he fellow assholes are still in one piece is because our guys didn't want to kill them. In an actual fight against a single Fafner, they'd all be dead 10 times over. Hopefully, they learn that lesson soon. I don't care about their reasons, they bombed civilians.

Screw you human army and that smiling laughing festum lol, I cant.

That was actually a really good fight up there in the sky though. Kind of wished it lasted longer especially the part when the festum wrapped itself up in the cloud.

I will say the Human Army attack did give some cool moments with them having to fight the Festum but then to also have to dodge human fire as well.

Cause they were looking at the bigger picture.

Soushi should of had killed those pricks and left one as a messenger. They could of had retrieved Hiroto's body easily after they get wiped.

I wonder if the civilians under the Human Army would rebel if they find out that their so ****ing war crazy.

This episode was excellent. The second season really brought the game up.

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

Can't help but feel Mizoguchi will end up in a bodybag by the end of the season.

Such a nonchalant character brought a welcome contrast to the excessively grim and emo cast of young people around him, would be a little sad to see him go.

Also really starting to notice they're trying really hard to give Dustin/Billy's brother and his crew more screen time. Obvious they're trying to make him seem less like a "I am a bad guy, I do bad things," kind of bad-guy; however for anyone with a sliver of military knowledge waving an ROE around as carte-blanche to kill people is flimsy logic. Though I suppose that's more likely attributable to a writing fault or lost-in-translation situation. Better to just openly attribute the intentional friendly fire to higher-ups rather than waving improperly understood/conveyed terminology around as a buzzword for gasps and "Oh no!" moments.

All in all not a bad episode. Shoushi taking a knee and "receiving" Emery's message was a heartwarming scene.

The actions are so intense and the betrayal of Human Army Arseholes is so satisfying.
Dem 2nd season
You will soon learn that a heart that choose to exist, even in a life filled with pain, will one day allow us to meet again.
With the world's blessings, we will meet again and again, forever returning to the homeworld we've yet to see.

The ROE Alpha is one of the dumbest ROE rules ever based on observations so far. Apparently the humans are so desperate common logic no longer applies:
1) The goal seems to be a scorched earth approach: Exterminate Festum and all humans related to Festum at all cost, regardless of collateral casualties or friendly fire
2) It is absolute and cannot be overturned or delayed once in motion (see first episode of S1 when they were nuking Hawaii -> lolwut?) <-- This is the dumbest part.
3) All soldiers must comply with the orders without exception

The dumber part of this is that Festum seems to be relatively immune to nukes anyway (see Hawaii) so the approach is the equivalent of just shooting yourself in the foot repeatedly. The Festum are laughing their face off (literally in this episode). If this is the level of stupidity of neo-UN then I have no sympathy for them and welcome our Festum overlords.

And that Dustin guy didn't even have any qualms about ignoring all that to try and save his brother Billy! If he's going to be half-assed about it, he may as well go all the way and either kill his brother like he was ordered to do, or throw everything out the window and say "to hell" with the Human Army.

If I were in Toumi's shoes, there wouldn't be any hesitation whatsoever to shooting the bombers. They already took countless human lives, and killed Hiroto; which Toumi should have already realized when he went missing, which is why she turned back in the first place to intercept the planes. Toumi should have shot them the moment she saw their plans on the monitor, because there wasn't anymore misunderstandings at that point; they dropped the bombs on purpose to whipe them out. The moment the Human Army (crappy name by the way), turned their guns at their own people, they forfeited their humanity and deserved nothing less than death, along with the festum aliens.

It would be even more idiotic if that chairwoman is a festum in disguise, sitting back and ordering human to kill each other. It would be a masterpiece!

No. Not Olga, too.

Soushi should have raped them all.

Olga is alive. A miracle.

Seeing Hiroto's container pissed me off. He shouldn't have went out like that.

Zetsubou is in effect.

Back up? Who is that?
