It's not unusual to have BDs with its original adaptation style because usually the contents inside the BDs are stuffs made by the original creator like small stories booklet and bonuses. |

| Also just to add some BDs info~ What Xeno posted is the slip cover, but these ones are the hardcover of the BDs. Vol. 1 hardcover: Vol. 2 hardcover: Volume 1 Bonuses: (includes cards, 12 pages booklet, an audio CD with the voice actors, and of course the NCOP and NCED) Kurumi's hardcover is so cute... Edit: Oh and I'm adding this one too here^^ BD boxes bonus when you bought all 6 volumes with special offer from one of these shops like amazon.co.jp or Toranoana. Each sellers offer different BD box bonus. How to notice the best girl? She appeared everywhere. Well they're all great too though.  |

| The art looks good, but I agree that I don't feel it's necessarily appropriate. You're selling the anime, you should stick to using the anime art. A lot of anime BDs with a source material would do something like, have a normal anime style BD cover, and the box usually includes bonus art from the manga/LN artist as a little bonus. I feel like that would've been the best approach. Especially when they went out of their way to make a bunch of special pictures in the anime art style included in the box sets that are nothing more than fan service. |

Can't afford to do that nowadays. |

Also while I think it's fine for them to use the manga art style, it is certainly weird to do so. |
| I'm a nice updater.. Here's the Volume 3 Covers: Slipcover: Hardcover: Looking by how it is going, Rii-san will be Volume 4 and Megu-nee on Volume 5 and the whole gang on Volume 6. Or if Taroumaru got a whole volume for himself lol Volume 1 sold on a total of 3.4 k or more in total and Volume 2 data should be out by tomorrow. |

| Oh btw, if you guys want to know the volume 5 sales. Gakkou Gurashi v5 sells 1889/429 (BD/DVD), total 2,318. While it is still low, it's still much better than volume 4 of 1.5k BD sales. Of course everything listed in this forum is all from first week ranking. In 3 months, it could probably go up to 3k-5k sales depending of the hype of Gakkou Gurashi still lives. |
