Japanese media watchdog group Broadcasting Ethics and Program Improvement Organization (BPO) posted a summary of viewer comments it received during the month of July, including several complaints about anime content.
Though the complaints describe the content of the anime, the titles of the anime are not posted.

-One complaint refers to a late-night anime that, while it uses sound modification, has a line that is recognizable as a vulgar word for genitals.
It also "uses a gesture that suggests sexual intercourse.
The comment says that the show goes too far because even children can guess what the lewd expressions mean.

The anime http://myanimelist.net/anime/29786/Shimoneta_to_Iu_Gainen_ga_Sonzai_Shinai_Taikutsu_na_Sekai which premiered on late-night television in Japan in July, uses the gestures described as well as censored words for genitals.

-Another complaint cited the ending of a children's anime that featured girls in bathing suits.
The commenter stated that this is "unnecessary" in a children's cartoon and "lacks consideration, as there are many child predators."

The second ending sequence for the 2015 PriPara anime included scenes of girls at the beach in bathing suits.

-Another complaint about a lottery commercial that used characters from the popular children's anime.
he viewer who submitted the complaint stated that they did not believe lottery ticket sellers should be using children's characters.

Characters from the popular children's anime Chibi Maruko-chan appeared in a commercial to advertise "Chibi Maruko-chan Scratch" lottery tickets.

The BPO last posted a complaint about an anime in its April list..
This complaint referred to an anime that airs at 6:00 p.m. featuring a hug pillow and "items used for BDSM." This happened in the 2015 Gintama anime's 4th episode.

So a show about fighting a prudish watchdog group that shields youths from sexual content is being fought against by prudish watchdog group that shield youths from sexual content. The cycle completes itself.

I'm not sure what kind of parent would let kids stay up late enough to watch a show like Shimoneta any how.

Shimoneta airs after midnight so they need to be a parent, shield their kids themselves if you don't like them watching it and STFU.

Pripara while justified, it's the least of it's worries that series has some instances of lingerie fanservice and this is a kids show not something airing at 1:30 AM, they should be more offended at that.

I never knew something like that exists in Japan and could target late night anime which kids shouldn't even be watching.

You merely adopted about complain. We ware born in it, molded by it.

If the parents are letting the kids stay up, then that's their own fault.

However, It's not hard for kids to wake up or pretend to be sleep after they are sent to bed. When you were in school and told to go to bed, you're telling me you would ALWAYS do it? AND right away?

Then again, there are TV and channel parental locks

I'm wondering if the anime channel in question is similar to our Adult Swim. We have regular cartoons on for kids during the day but at night, adult themed stuff. Sure you can send your kids to bed and lock the channels but I think that the idea of it is part of their anger too.

The parents may be thinking, "Why can't you just put that on a separate channel instead of airing it on a kids one". Like that it does seem like they are trying to attract younger audiences. Kinda like taking an alcoholic to a bar just to "hang out". There's a bazillion other places you can "hang out" at.

Of course, this is only if it's like the Adult Swim scenario.
