DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Must be convenient being able to materialize weapons like that (I know it's teleporting, but it's so ridiculously OP haha). Without wasting time, we got a Killy backstory episode. Guess next one will be Shingo's. |

| While the series so far is nothing revolutionary, it's a nice evolution from the very OTT 70s Super Robot shows. Episodes like this one nicely explore the background of the different main characters, without getting quite as melodramatic as many 70s Super Robot anime. Also, these past few episodes Goushougun itself has almost felt like an after thought, making only brief, obligatory appearances. For the most part, I think the series is a bit more interesting for it. |
