| Kharlan was killed by his own weapon lol Daryun is still showing us what a boss he is. He can totally handle 50 thousand on his own. Silvermask is the King's nephew and is the righful heir to the throne. Interesting. Falangies is just perfect <3 |

| Finally, Kharlan falls. But to call Arslan an illegitimate child maybe true. Farangis finalley met up with the prince but Gieve following along. He's a bit annoying but can't blame him for following a beauty like her. Well, the prince now has a good party now. Going back to Ecbatana? Seems a too early for that. |

| So,our competent little party has been formed.Considering the numbers of soldiers in any army in this world,they might have to rely on cunning strategy and politics almost exclusively from here on out. That fight scene was pretty realistic.The way Daryun used his lance(?) in that manner shows he isn't just a brute w/o quick thinking.Probably most duels has a high chance to end like this,particularly if the power levels are comparable. |

| Gieve is head over heels for Farangis. Mmm, the real reason for her leaving the Temple of Mithra in particular was because they needed an excuse to get rid of her. If Farangis were with the Lusitanians/traitors, she would've alerted Kharlan immediately. Kharlan and a contingent of traitors are led into the worst terrain to take on such a small force, forcing their horses to climb up such steep slopes. Confined to the very narrow path below, they are thrown into further disarray with just the mention of Daryun alone. Arslan's no pacifist and gets in on the fighting with his band along with newfound allies Farangis and Gieve. Kharlan reaches his target and clashes with Arslan on horseback, the former needing the other to die and the latter wanting an answer to of the other. Daryun saves the Prince again and Kharlan is impaled by his own weapon. So Kharlan's dying words were true, King Andragoras is indeed alive and is being kept prisoner. Now we also learn why Silver Mask worked for the Lusitanians as a guest general yet badmouths them as barbarians; he is the son of Pars's previous king Osroes and believes his uncle Andragoras to be illegitimate. The man is going full Char Clone. From the laugh at the end, there's probably some truth to the matter like he killed Osroes. Siding with the Lusitanians is just a means to an end for Silver Mask. |
