I'm faithful that this half will be better than the first, which wasn't bad at all. Overall the Fate/Stay Night series is looking overrated to me, but it still has a chance to end well.

And isn't that what the story is? I mean he just jumped without thinking into situation he cant win in just to save his waifu and him ruining Saber's try to save Taiga is OBVIOUSLY the moment where you decide which one you want to tap.

Ufotable can produce good results as long as the director spot isn't given to Miura as shown with both Zero and KnK - excluding the 6th movie.

As soon as Miura gets the director spot though, you might as well expect another KnK 6 or UBW.

But it plays out like contemporary VN where the ends are substantial. Nukige and deep-end eroge have the women become nothing more than glorified masturbatory items. The way FSN is being judged is as if it's one of those deep-end eroge. But it isn't. Heck the reason it's so damn popular is BECAUSE it has a substantial story that can be adapted by ufotable and other studios should they take up the challenge. Because if FSN were deep-end eroge, it'd be animated as hentai and not a commercial anime aimed to be viewable by all ages internationally.
