Umm, Main Heroine=/=Most popular. Soem side heroines(especially in harems) are more liked than the main. So there's no point in pointing out that people thought/think she's the main/only heroine. Secondly, yes, she got alot of love from Zero. But you say this like she wouldn't be popular without the animes. She was already popular before then -_- And that's a pretty good accomplishment considering all Rin gets >The VN's Second Protag >3/8 - 1/4 - Prillya >A whole episode for herself in Zero >Being the second protag of most other things such as Capsule Servant, and other spinoffs.
