Good shows or manga about ambitions, passion and dreams (sports are fine, too.)

I'm seeking for any anime or manga where the character is chasing for their dreams. The kind that has realism touch but still feels optimistic, if possible high-spirited. Something like sports anime or shows like Sakurasou will do.

Something like :
- Bambino!
- Bakuman.
- Slam Dunk
- Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojou
- Free!
- Chihayafuru
- Eyeshield 21

I'd prefer if the character has not already super-talented in the start of the series, hence he/she has to learn and work hard to keep up with the other character, but if not it's fine :D

Hi, Funi. Welcome to MAL ^^

Hasn't watched, but I've read some of its early chapters. I think it's not high-spirited enough for my taste. I somehow mentioned Free because, er, in its latter-half episodes in S2 it contemplates about Haru's lack of dreams and how Rin was when he's chasing his dreams in Australia.

But it has been a while since the last time I read it so maybe I'll read and pick it up again :D
Thanks anyway :)

no, seriously, watch baby steps, it's about deciding what your dreams are, discovering hidden passions and determination you never thought you had, it's about making progress in small, baby steps
