| Botan really has no reason to be that upset over Genkai's death with her barely knowing the deceased. Her extreme mourning is overdoing the melodrama. |

| I don't know why everyone feels the need to hide Genkai's death. What the hell guys?? They should be able to know their friend is dead. Also don't know why Botan is so sad that Genkai died when they've hardly shared the same scene together. Her job is literally to guide dead people to the afterlife. The fight itself had great potential. Some of it was thrown away though. Karasu playing a bit coy in only revealing a bit about his power was a nice touch to keep the fight engaging. Then he just says "fuck it" and tells him exactly what his power is. Kurama is supposed to be the calculating fighter, so seeing him figuring it out would have been wayyyy more satisfying. I have no idea why they threw away a nice concept like that. Seeing the Yoko form again is nice though. |

Her job is literally to guide dead people to the afterlife. My guess is that they don't want to add more stress or make them anxious (for Kuwabara mostly since he has to fight). Besides it's not like she died naturally, Toguro killed her and it's always hard to accept the death of someone who was next to you and talking normally a few hours ago even if they didn't know her that much. They probably will tell the others after the tournament ends. But I agree with you on Botan, she's taking it even worse than Yuusuke and it doesn't make sense. |
| I started to get a little bored here. So, I mean, I'm excited to see the end, but these last few episodes have been kind of drawn out and uneventful. This one did have an interesting fight, though it's still kind of formulaic. |

| Genkai was so amazing that she had very meaningful moments offscreen with other characters besides training Yuusuke or maybe they are just inventing memories to find a way to fit within the narrative, poor Botan so irrelevant these days. Kurama against the evil manicure, he get hits like a power ranger before he finally do his true form and yet he has the odds against him? then what's the point of those plants. I liked the animation when the bombs appear. |
| Kurama reminds of Moka-san from Rosario + Vampire. ... Yes, I've watched that show in my darker days, because my brother recommended it to me. I ended up dropping it. Kurama:  Moka-san:  Pink/red is the human, while white is the demon form. |
