All hail Slaine and his mistakes, I just love characters who screw up. In the end he was the only one alive and that makes him the victor, muahaha. |

He had agents on the ground already before her visit. |

"In my original scenario, the final episode saw Inaho and Asseylum 'becoming lovers' before she gets taken away by Slaine." "If you're ahead [of Psycho Pass], it is not my fault if someone also dies in Psycho Pass 2! It is Ubukata-san's." This hints that they are dead. |

But if she did survive then yeah it'd certainly give her more opportunities for that in season 2 |

| Dang! Was the show this shallow all along? I do realize I was hoping for some deaths, but I thought it would all lead to somewhere. This was just....the characters were static with little to no development all the way till the end. Sazbum was literally the only one realistically fleshed out and the saving grace of the cast. The rest were meh. Music was awesome till the end though. If anything, that'll be the only incentive I'll have to pick this show up again, come January. |

Its funny you say that because Slaine is probably the most generic kind of protagonist ever and not only in the mecha genre. And in the end thanks to his attempts to "save" the princess he actually ended up killing her. Inaho not only did save her several times through the story but was also her emotional support in this episode. |

| Aaaand I really didn't give a shit about this episode or this series as a whole. Terrible characters and the plot was rather generic as well. At least it was kinda entertaning, unsure about whether to give this a 6/10 or 7/10. |

I thought the first alternative would be the most logical one considering how Inaho didn't even make a move on the blond little princess. | Slaine - most misunderstood character of 2014 Inaho - Got enough Kirito this season with SAO II so no thanks. The writing of this series was so bad... no character development (aside from Slaine) fake deaths all over to create fake emotional impact... God if Inaho lives. I will kill him myself, characters without personality shouldn't exist. Only this degenerate piece of s*** medium called 'anime' allows that kind of BS writing. God Slaine shooting Inaho was easily justifiable, or even a logical course of action. 1. If he didn't shoot, Inaho would've shot and killed him (he was raising his gun too) so Slaine was just saving himself.... 2. Inaho was an a**hole to Slaine the entire series, he betrayed Slaine, implied that he was just using the princess for his own gain (or the gain of Earth) He even called himself an enemy of Slaine when Slaine wanted to help the princess (Island scene where Slaine saved the entire cast GG) 3. ties in with second point - Slaine must've been heartbroken, or very angered by how Inaho deceived the princess (or at least he thought that Inaho deceived the princess because Inaho told him he was just using her episodes before) - Princess believed Inaho and trusted him till the very end, even thought he was just using her but she didn't know. 4. Final Point, for god's sake, Slaine is a Mars soldier, Inaho is an earth soldier, Mars and Earth are at war. I would've shot Inaho myself in that situation, he IS an enemy, I also confirmed he was the douche who used my princess, the bastard who attacked me etc, fully justifiable. And Slaine saving Saazbaum was maybe not the smartest move, but it was in the heat of the moment, Slaine saved Saazbaum to show him his gratitude because Saazbaum did help him out earlier, its not like Slaine knew that Saazbaum would just proceed to kill the princess with his newly extended life. |
