| To be honest, I really didn't. When I made an account here I went solely off of memory and after logging everything I could think of I went through the history and series list on the crunchyroll app to get any I missed. I used to watch most of my anime on crunchyroll so I don't think I left anything out which is pretty amazing considering that I was a fan for 2 years before making my account here. |
| I never did kept tracked but I've always wanted too. I even thought it would be cute to get a quilt and add patches of every anime I have ever watched. |
| For the series i used folder naming as sign. Like this: K-ON [c] K-On!! [w] c is for completed, and w is for watching. Other than that, i haven't watched it yet. For the episode number, i used memory. |

| I download every anime I watch so it wasn't that hard to keep track. After a while I started listing them in a notepad file and later moved on to excel. I still update the excel file simultaneously with my MAL list. |

| I never kept track of the anime I've watched before MAL, so when I had to create my list I looked through years of my internet history to see what I'd watched. Also put down some stuff from memory. :) |

| I just straight up used the sticky notes feature on windows. But only for the shows I was currently watching. Once I finished something, it would be completely forgotten. Which is a reason I like mal, it let's me remember things on a nice little list |

| I didn't because i didn't really saw the point back then. I think the main reason why i started to use MAL was that i didn't want to rely on my memory if someone happened to ask recommendations or if i needed to check what i seen to make a favorite list. I don't forget what i have seen but it's handy to have list as reminder. |
| I had a physical notebook called 'Things I particularly enjoyed' (by me). It had it's limitations, because I didn't record anything I didn't like. When the notebook was full I moved to Notepad. I was aware of MAL but I resisted for ages. Not sure why. |

| In my case I don't think I really watched all that much before. It's like only after I got the access to internet I found this site and carried on from that. I'm pretty sure I still have some series I didn't add from way back in the day. |

| I didnt but after i discovered mal i tried to remember evry anime i had watched ( there werent many since i was and still am very new to anime ) and added them to the list there are still i couple wich i cant remember the name of but oh well. |

| It was very simple. I used this site called "My Brain". Very shitty servers though and occasionally deletes information or reverts them. 3/10, will not recommend. |
