| Ever since I first watched S1 of Saekano all those years ago, a bit after it aired, I was more into Eriri and Utaha than Megumi, as the lead heroine. For the "Fine" movie and the outcome of the series, I was ok with such developments because S2 ending forced me to see Utaha but SPECIALLY Eriri has not worth it heroines at all. Still early on I shipped them, and I enjoyed Utaha a lot for her gimmicks, it is just that the MC was such a spineless response from her antics that put me back... A manga with Utaha has focus is the best thing that could occur considering how I initially felt about these characters. Reading this first chapter (already read up to vol2) was a blast, it feels like this is the writer's way of apologizing for what he did with the main series, I wanted to get onto this manga for a while, and now that i m doing it, I m loving every bit! I should consider myself lucky that the writer is used to writing for different scenarios for VNs, having spinoffs to focus on different female leads was a smart move. |
