| I finally understood every single thing that happened in the Superfly fight, especially the part where he talked about getting the angles right to use the damage reflection to his advantage because I barely had an idea on what was going on yet I just watched on. It was a lot more entertaining this time around because of that and that's a big surprise! Mikitaka's ready to make a noble sacrifice but Josuke's coming to the rescue! |

| Mikitaka has always been a great brother, a dude who tries his hardest to repay and help his homies. I did think Okuyasu was rude when he told him off earlier, and it totally hurt him. He wanted to do something for them, and he even took responsibility for bringing his friends into this. If one should stay, it's him. . . . Bruh!!! What a sweet brother.. Whether or not he is the ultimate alien or the ultimate roleplayer, he is truly the ultimate guy. As for the enemy, he has a huge mouth. You could read him as being a good guy despite doing harmful things when he tells them the rules of the game, or states where the medical herbs are, as if he's trying to save himself not make them suffer more than he has to. However, going so far to tell them that he gave them a fake name and face is just dumb!!! They had no idea, so run and then never reveal your fake identity, you'd get away easy!!! Finally, the actual battle. When starting this arc, I thought that it was going to be one that I wanted to get over fast, some weird guy and stand I don't care about, yeah yeah okay. But quickly, it's actually become fascinating! A nice showing of character, a focus on independant stands, and an interesting battle in motivation and rules. Specifically, this reminds me of the final battle between Joseph's and pre-ultimate lifeform Cars. We are on the high platforms and dangling with ropes, attempting to trick the opponent. But there is the very intriguing and unique setup of a tower which one person must always stay inside, which always redistributes whatever kind of damage you send into it. This rule set makes this man vs environment more than anything! Whoever best outsmarts the opponent and best uses the terrain will win and I'm all in! |
